Membership Fee?
Who the *** buys a membership for a resume? This is the biggest crock of *** going and another reason we need some sort of legal governance involved in online businesses. As it is now sites like this are screwing people out of money for nothing and getting away with it! I agreed to pay for what I thought was a TEMPLATE only I didn't need anything more from these jerkoffs! I wouldn't wipe my *** with their service, but I will let everyone I can know NOT to use them unless you want to get ripped off. Not only did they charge me $1.95 for the template they charged me for international service fee along with a Monthly Membership? REALLY? If I had known they were not an American Business service I wouldn't have used them!

Buyer beware. Rigged for you to sign up for a service. 1.95 is only first fee. They will then charge you 24.95 every 4 weeks. You have 14 days to cancel after first 1.95.

Resumehelp - Account Review
I am very upset with this company. I was charged twice on my account. When I called to have one of the charges removed, it was like pulling teeth. The attendant eventually credited my account, then offers me a cheaper rate of $9.95. I asked what the catch was, he implied there wasn't any. So I agreed. He put me on hold, and gets back on apologizing that I could not receive the discount and that my account was canceled! I asked to speak to the supervisor, who also said 'sorry' I couldn't receive the offer and if I'd like to continue the service, I'd have to log in with a new email! I can't believe this! I'm very upset by the way I was treated! And plan on letting everyone know as this is very poor service!

My credit card fraud department just called about Resume Help ResumeHelp.com
Well... Just got a call from Cabelas Visa (BTW - an awesome company and VISA card :-) I found out that my wife and daughter fell for this "monthly billing scam" that was designed by resumehelp.com The billing comes from Germany. They say it is $1.95 then they billing you every month. Luckily Cabelas VISA caught this scam so it did not keep billing... Now we had to cancel our credit cards and get issued new cards. If you need resume help, just ask a friend or find someone on craigslist... uhg. YOU MUST ALWAYS READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE ORDERING. Attached is a screen shot section... way down inside the terms and conditions...

Deceptive Practices; User be Ware
My wife used Resumehelp.com to create a resume. Everything about the site led her to believe that the service was free (free template, free builder, etc). There is no mention of fees, subscriptions or the like on their landing page. They just simply use a wizard to walk you through the process and collect your onfo. Only when you are ready to print do they reveal their true colors. For a nominal $1.95 she could print her resume and be done. She had already invested time and energy and decided to provide her cc information. Her card was hit for one charge in the amount of $1 and a second in the amount of .95. However, the charges did not stop. For the next year we were charged $39.80 a month plus an additional chage $1.19 to cover an international exchange fee. The company does allude to these charges on their user agreement page (item #28), but then who takes the time to read all that ***. I shamefully write this reveiw because I could have avoided these charges had I paid more attention to my statments. There is nothing "free" about this service. I would have been fine with a nominal charge for their service, but they entice you with the word "free", get you to surrender your cc info with a lowball figure and then hit you up with overpriced charges which they hide in their small print agreement. Word to the wise, if it is free then they don't need your financial info.

I had a bad experiance with resume help i knew something was up when there was no live chat to help me to complete my resume plus you look at all the reviews and they all have great things to say about these people but the one similar thing is there reviews all have cat fish flowrrs and weird stuff in their profile picture no real photos fake fake fake. So dont do it because they get all your information and use all your info for fraudulant stuff. Do the right thing report them to the B.B.B. I hopefully they will catch them so I *** had a bad experience report them cyber theives....

Scammed me for almost $200
I didn't have any Microsoft software on my new computer and needed a resume'. I used Resume' Help. It said it was free but asked for a fee of $1.95 at the end. I thought that seemed deceptive but I didn't want to lose all that work I had put in on creating the resume'. I paid the fee. I have recently looked at my account. I hardly ever use that checking account so I hadn't looked at a statement in months. I have five monthly charges for $39.95. Actually I think they occur every four weeks. I did not choose an extended service, only the two week trial for $1.95. In fact it did not work right and I only used it for about a day. I have now been charged a total of over $200.00 for a monthly service I didn't agree to and did not use. What a scam! I plan on contacting the BBB and Illinois Attorney General to see if anything can be done. Even if I do not receive any kind of refund, it would make me happy to know that this company cannot continue to steal from others.

Wow-lots of errors created in the resume format
So I spent about an hour on a resume that I thought was free. That was the first annoyance. I submitted my $1.95 to them through the site. Sure, whatever. It didn't provide me enough control to edit the resume exactly the way I wanted it so I thought, I'll just download what I have for now and continue to edit it within Word. So then I go to download it in pdf, word, and text format. When I open the doc in word I immediately see the WEIRDEST errors ever. I thought that what I created through their website would appear exactly the same in WORD. Boy was I wrong. There were random letters in weird places across the document AND, even worse, they were in image formats???? The next problem was the fact that all the bullet points were in some bizarre format, as well. I could not remove them, move them, or delete them. Ridiculous.

Seems you didn't thoroughly read what the terms were before you gave them your card info. If you gave them your credit card then file a dispute---that alone will cost them a (usually)$25 dispute fee from the card company. If you were unwise and used a debit card, you can still dispute it but good luck on that.
